Josh and Dom, founders of Sonder saw that craftsmanship towards leather was getting lost in the modern world. Growing up in Otaki Josh would watch his grandfather make Western saddles in a small workshop. The smell of the leather was something that would stick with Josh his entire life, culminating in the creation of his own company Sonder. Focusing on leather goods that are individually handcrafted and personalised in Christchurch, New Zealand, Sonder does things the old way - with respect. Each Sonder product is made from sustainable Kangaroo leather, which offers an inimitable smell and buttery texture that get's better with age.
