Engraved Animal Knife No.8 - Deer/Cerf Oak

You'll be holding history in your hands when it comes to these knives. The classic Opinel wood handled pocket-knife was invented by Joseph Opinel and has been manufactured since 1890 in the French town of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. Originally ment to be a simple peasant's knife, it grew to bigger and better things becoming an icon in the knife world and being put on the same par as the Rolex watch. We can't fail to mention that even the great Pablo Picasso used Opinel knives to carve his infamous sculptures!
