Founded in 2013 by Peter Kolks and Ric Van Rest, Pop Trading Company, is named in reference to ‘popping’ your skateboard. The Amsterdam based platform started initially as a boutique stocking the likes of Norse Projects and Palace before Kolk's dad suggested they start their own clothing brand. With their ‘why not’ attitude the skaters started their first Pop Trading Company line which was backed by the likes of their close friend and GAG favourite Parra. Maintaining true to themselves Kolks and Van Rest have developed the aesthetic of the brand alongside their maturing selves to menswear meets skate.
